The Pilkington Activ™ glass coating
detector has been developed in conjunction with the Pilkington
European Technology Centre in Lathom.
The detector is designed to reliably detect the presence of
a Pilkington Activ™ coating on the surface of the glass.
The use of dual measurement technology ensures accurate discrimination
of Pilkington Activ™ even in the presence of other low-e
and solar control coatings.
The Pilkington Activ™ has been upgraded
to an e-activ detector.
The e-activ has
increased functionality including the ability to detect both
Pilkington Activ™ coating and low-e coatings for the
same price as the Pilkington Activ™.
